Welcome to Sober Streak. This Privacy Policy explains how Sober Streak ("App", "Service", "we", "our", or "us") handles information when you use the application.
Sober Streak does not collect personal information from you.
The App does not require you to create an account, provide your name, email address, phone number, or other personal information in order to use its core features.
Information you enter into the App, such as sobriety dates, goals, habits, relapse records, reflections, notes, attempts, and other recovery-related information, remains stored locally on your device.
Sober Streak stores your App data locally on your mobile device. Your recovery information is not automatically uploaded to a cloud service or transmitted to our servers.
Because your data is stored locally, we do not have access to your recovery records and cannot retrieve them for you.
Sober Streak does not send your App data to our servers or any external cloud database.
The App is designed to operate without an internet connection, and your recovery data remains on your device.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information or recovery data with third parties.
Sober Streak may provide an option to export your locally stored data into a backup file.
The export process is initiated by you. The resulting backup file is provided to you for your own storage and use.
Sober Streak does not automatically upload or transmit exported backup files to us or to any external server.
You are responsible for deciding where you store or share an exported backup file. If you send or upload the file to another service, that service's privacy policy and security practices will apply.
Sober Streak may allow you to import a previously exported backup file.
Imported data is processed locally by the App and stored locally on your device. The imported information is not transmitted to our servers.
Because Sober Streak stores your data locally, uninstalling the App may permanently remove the data stored by the App on your device.
We cannot recover locally stored data after it has been deleted from your device.
If you want to preserve your data before uninstalling the App, you should use the App's export/backup functionality and keep the resulting backup file in a safe location.
Sober Streak may use local notifications to provide reminders, such as daily recovery or habit reminders.
These notifications are generated locally by your device. Notification functionality does not require your recovery data to be sent to our servers.
Sober Streak does not use third-party analytics, advertising services, cloud databases, or tracking services to collect your personal or recovery information.
The App may use operating-system services required for basic functionality, such as local notification functionality.
Sober Streak is not specifically designed for children.
Because the App does not collect personal information or transmit user data to our servers, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We design Sober Streak with privacy and local data storage in mind. The App uses local storage technologies to keep your information on your device.
However, no electronic device or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for protecting access to your device and any backup files you create.
